Getting ready for Procedure

You will undergo appropriate tests to assess your fitness for surgery. A customised compression garment is ordered. A list of instructions to be followed before & after the procedure will be provided.
The Procedure
The surgery is performed under general anaesthesia and takes approximately 2-4 hours. In the case of Buttock implants, silicone implants are placed within your buttock muscles through 5 cm vertical incision in your native cleft.
In the case of a Brazilian Butt lift, liposuction is performed through keyhole incisions and fat is aspirated from the lower abdomen, back, hips and thighs. The fat is then purified and re-injected into the buttocks to improve its appearance. A compression garment is applied.
Recovery after Procedure
Following your surgery, you will be under observation until you are fully awake, pain-free and comfortable. You are advised to not lie on your back or sit on your buttocks for 3 weeks, followed by the use of cushion until complete recovery. Compression garments are advised for a minimum of 12 weeks to reduce swelling and enhance recovery.
You may feel a change in sensation or numbness in the buttocks. The pain can easily be managed with the help of oral pain killers.
The result of surgery is immediately visible and improves over the next 3-6 months once all the swelling reduces and skin redrapes to a more firmer and taut contour.

The Follow Up
